Since the establishment of BYD, it has always advocated a family culture through which it works hard to have employees regard the company as a family and be loyal to it as a family. The company has created a caring and comfortable working environment by providing family-style food, accommodation and other basic services and by organizing various training and team building activities to help ensure smooth and effective communication channels between staff and management.
BYD has invested a large amount of money in constructing the Comprehensive Cultural and Sports Center, a complete cultural and sports facility offering a wide range of activities aimed at enriching the work-life balance of employees. The opening of the BYD Middle School and the BYD Technical School has provided convenient and inexpensive schooling to the children of employees by providing state-of-the-art facilities in a garden style teaching environment with excellent teaching staff.

The direct meaning of "Development of employees comes before development of products" - first put forward by President Wang Chuanfu - is that the quality of our employees determines the quality of our products. The establishment and implementation of various systems, including research and manufacture of new products and the introduction of quality systems, have been achieved by employees.
